Make It Monday #169: Vellum Overlays

Wow, it's been a long time since I have had a chance to do one of the Papertrey Make It Monday challenges.  This week is vellum overlays.  I thought since I had a birthday card to do, I may as well use this technique, and hopefully win the $25 gift certificate! 

I used the flowers from The Sweet Life set and the sentiment from Stylish Sentiments: Birthday.  Patterned paper is from K&Company and I like how you can see the delicate design through the vellum.  The edges are distressed using Old Paper and Walnut Distress inks to give it an antique feel.
